• Henderson, Trinity River – Metroplex Ski Club

    In the heart of downtown Fort Worth, MSC has obtained access to a section of the Trinity River. This site is large enough to provide a full slalom course, and separate areas for open skiing/wakeboarding. The Metroplex Ski Club is a family oriented social ski club looking to promote all disciplines of waterskiing. MSC has been active in the Fort Worth / Dallas area for many years, and is made up of over 100 members. All ages and abilities are welcome, and is always looking to grow in both membership and ski sites. Club dues are only $210/single $255/family per year! Monthly meetings begin at 7:30 PM on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Shady Oak Barbeque & Grill, 6364 Sandshell Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76137. ​​MSC annually hosts at least one Novice and one Class C tournament throughout the year, and has been well represented at both the South Central Regional and the National tournaments in recent years. Additionally, the club participates in several community outreach programs by hosting events such as In His Wakes, Special Olympics, and disabled skiers clinics.

  • Marine Creek – Metroplex Ski Club

    MSC currently has a ski site with a slalom course and a jump ramp at Marine Creek Lake in Fort Worth. This site is well protected from all but a NE wind. It has been the site for the Cowtown Drag Boat Races, Pro Wakeboard Tour, U.S. Open of Wakesurfing, and Pro Ski Tour.   • Portage lakes

    Public lake. Limited ski times. Also travel to surrounding lakes in the Akron Ohio area. Can teach beginners waterskiing, slalom skiing, barefooting, and trick skiing. have extra equipment for use. week days are best, but could make a weekend work.

  • Preston Island

    My name is Chris Logan. Contact me if you’d like to learn to slalom ski in the Lake Guntersville area. I ski on a public-water slalom course and trick area in the backwater of the Tennessee River behind Preston Island. It is open to all skiers, especially those wanting to ski buoys or interested in tournament skiing. Site is mostly protected from wind and is not affected by traffic in the river. Course is privately maintained so visitor maintenance (as needed) is always welcomed and encouraged. Collegiate skiers are always welcome with me. Bring your boat or ski with me (08 Ski Nautique w/ZeroOff). Come ski with us on beautiful Lake Guntersville!
